Reservation Policy
Items in your quote are not reserved until we receive your advance payment and send you a confirmation document.
Payment Methods
You may choose one of the following secure methods to make your advance payment:
- Zelle: Pay via Zelle.
- Credit or Debit Card: Complete the Advance Payment Form sent to you with your quote.
- Business Check (Pre-approved): We will provide a shipping form for your check.
- ACH (Pre-approved): We will send you our bank details for deposit.
Advance Payment Req.
An advance payment is required to reserve your event. If your event is canceled, this non-refundable payment will be credited to your Ponies & Petting Zoo account for one year. (Refer to our Cancellations/Bad Weather/Rain Policy for more details.)
Final Payment
Final payment is due on the day of the event, before it begins. Accepted methods for final payment are cash or pre-approved business check.
Please Note:
- Zelle, credit, or debit cards are not accepted on the event day.
Important Payment Notes:
- Zelle, credit, or debit cards are not accepted for event day payments.
- Remaining balance must be paid in cash before the event starts, no exceptions.
- No advance, full or partial payments are accepted for the final payment.
- If Ponies & Petting Zoo cancels due to non-payment before the event date, the advance payment will NOT be refunded or applied to future events.
Exemptions:
If, by mutual agreement, Ponies & Petting Zoo authorizes final payment by credit or debit card, it must be made at least 72 hours before the event with a 45% fee added. If not paid within this time, the event will be canceled and the advance payment will be credited for use within one year.
Insurance Docs
We will provide necessary insurance documents only after receiving your confirmation deposit.
Electronic Signatures
Per the ESIGN Act (2000), electronic signatures are legally recognized throughout the U.S.
Business Checks
Final payments by Business Check are only for large pre-approved events, we accept them on the event day. Note that checks must be from a U.S. bank and include the customer’s name, address, and a valid nine-digit routing number (ABA code).
We DO NOT Accept the Following as Final Payment:
- Temporary or counter checks
- Money orders
- Cashier’s checks
- Gift cards
- Credit/Debit cards
- Payment apps (Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, Square, PayPal, etc.)
Bad Checks
Dishonored checks will incur a fee of up to $40.00. If the check and fees are not paid in full within seven (7) days of notification, the check will be submitted to the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Bad Check Division without further notice. Click to view Florida Statute 68.065
Reservation Process
Reservations are only confirmed upon receipt of advance payment through the prepayment forms sent with your quote via email. Note that for quick confirmation & to successfully reserve your date, please complete your advance payment as soon as possible.
Cancels due to Bad Weather
- Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before the event.
- If the event is canceled on the day of the event, when our team has already arrived, a rescheduling fee (starting at $45.00) will apply.
- If canceled with sufficient notice, the advance payment will be credited to your account for one year but will not be refunded.
- Credit can be applied to reschedule an event of equal or greater value.
The Client waives all legal and chargeback claims by signing this contract.
We operate rain or shine. Please provide a dry, sheltered area for children and animals, such as a garage or covered terrace.
Credit Transfers
If you wish to transfer credit to another person, authorization from Ponies & Petting Zoo is required. Please contact us for approval first.
Cancellation Rights
Ponies & Petting Zoo reserves the right to cancel or apply advance payments to future events in the following situations:
- Accidents involving our vehicles: Advance payment may be refunded or applied to future events.
- No parking available for Ponies & Petting Zoo vehicles and trailers.
- Events beyond our control, such as storms, hurricanes, or other natural disasters: Advance payment will be applied to future events.
- Discrepancies, errors, or differences between Ponies & Petting Zoo and the client: Advance payment will be applied to future events.
- If customer cancels (for any reason) at least 2 hours before the event, the deposit will be credited for one year with no additional charges.
- If Ponies & Petting Zoo cancels due to issues like non-confirmation of documents, incorrect address, unpaid balance, or event location issues, the advance payment will be credited for one year. Authorized changes will incur a fee starting at $25.00.
- No obligation to reschedule or make changes due to weather conditions or other circumstances. If changes are authorized, a $25.00 fee applies.
Immediate Event Cancellations:
Advance payment will not be refunded or applied to future events if any of the following occur:
- Physical or verbal abuse toward our employees.
- Physical abuse toward our animals.
- Breach of contract or customer-initiated cancellation for large or repetitive events.
- Pending payments for insurance, licenses, or other costs incurred by Ponies & Petting Zoo.
- If for any reason Ponies & Petting Zoo decides to refund your prepayment, up to 50% will be retained for administrative fees. Refunds will be processed within 20 business days, and this is at the sole discretion of Ponies & Petting Zoo.
Florida state law for regulation of Equine and/or farm animal activities
Florida statutes stipulate that sponsors of activities with farm animals or equine activities shall not be liable for injuries or death resulting from inherent risks. Children under one year of age are strictly forbidden to participate in these activities.

Release Civil/criminal liability
Ponies & Petting Zoo Subcontracts other companies to operate with their animals, licenses, insurance, and criminal liability. We are not responsible for any damages incurred during the event.
The client, at his/her own expense, must obtain and maintain a General Liability Insurance Policy that covers bodily injury, personal injury and property damage arising out of or related to the services provided by Ponies & Petting Zoo of Miami. LLC.
Such policy must have minimum liability limits of $1,000,000.00 per incident and $2,000,000.00 in the aggregate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the client agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Ponies & Petting Zoo of Miami. LLC, as well as its officers, employees and agents from and against all claims, damages, liabilities, losses or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way related to the services provided by Ponies & Petting Zoo of Miami. LLC.
Client acknowledges that animal activities including pony rides or petting zoos carry inherent risks (recognized by Florida law)
Florida Statute (Equine Activity) and/or Florida Statute (Farm Animals Activity. Petting Zoo)
Client voluntarily assumes and accepts all risks, both known and unknown, associated with these activities, both for themselves and their guests, participants or attendees of the event.
Client agrees to maintain proper control and supervision of all attendees to minimize risks and ensure compliance with safety guidelines provided by Ponies & Petting Zoo of Miami. LLC.
By making an advance payment or full payment for a reservation with Ponies & Petting Zoo of Miami, you are certifying and confirming that you have a General Liability Insurance Policy that as described in these Terms and Conditions.
Summary
Ponies & Petting Zoo reserves the right to cancel events due to circumstances beyond our control, discrepancies, lack of communication, errors, or any abuse toward our staff or animals. We are not obligated to make changes to event schedules after booking. Authorized changes will incur a $25.00 fee.
